Forty Years of the Islamic Republic- Forty Years of Failure of the Anticlerical Opposition

2019 the regime of the Islamic Republic celebrated the forty years existence of the Islamic Republic. It is about time to take a closer look why this inhumane could celebrate said jubilee. 2019 was also the year in which Iran was shaken by many protests and also in which a big flood, after a long drought, came. The flood of 2019 this man-made disaster created by the Revolutionary Guards that ravished Iran and had a worse aftermath than the Iran-Iraq-war in several provinces could not flush away the regime. Even despite the obvious mismanagement of the inhumane regime.

Actually, the flood could be beneficial for the regime. As an example: Since the flood and the disastrous aftermath quacks the representative of the regime, Javad Zarif, relentlessly that the sanctions should be eased for the sake of helping the victims of the flood. While the International Committee of the Red Cross has stated that humanitarian aid was never affected by the sanctions. This however does not prevent the regime to agitate with lies and therefore influence gullible people because the sanctions, primarily those sanctions that target the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) can really threaten the regime. Because of the flood the regime has now an excuse to deploy the Hezbollah and other Shiite “Militia” in Iran. The Hezbollah and their cronies can be used to suppress an uprising.

The so-called anticlerical opposition however is currently not a real alternative and keeps the regime, through their very own failure in charge. I shall take the liberty to list some reasons why this inhumane that does not have any democratic or moral legitimacy to rule upon Iran is still here:

Because of the presence of the Revolutionary Guards/ Pasdaran/ IRGC and the paramilitary Basiji. The Revolutionary Guards control over 60% of the Iranian economy through bogus companies such as the “Khatam Ghorb”, especially the very profitable construction sector, through which the Revolutionary Guards are able to launder dirty money (From drug-trafficking etc.).
Because of the martyr-cult that surrounds Mossadegh, that is still common among countless secular Iranians. For these the Iranians the ousted former prime minister is secular substitute for the Ali and the Hossein of the pious Shiites. With the ousting of Mossadegh these Iranians also excuse the precarious state in which Iran is currently because of the actual existence of the Islamic Republic. With this excuse these Iranians deliberately ignore the fact, that countries such as Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Georgia not only had to endure the ousting of their leaders, but also in the cases of Nagy (Hungary) and Gamsakhurdia (Georgia) the killing of said leaders at the hand of the Soviets. Despite all of this people are not hanged on construction material in broad daylight in Budapest, Bratislava, Prague and Tbilisi.
Due to the fact that many people chose to leave Iran for good and therefore unintentionally release pressure from the regime. Because of the migration the regime has effectively to feed less people and there are fewer “Desperados” out there who could potentially challenge the regime in one way or another. In Exile the opposition is not able to mobilize the newly arrived Iranians to engage in political work against the regime. This practically forces Non-Iranians to take up the fight against the so-called Islamic Republic because the Islamic Republic is not an ordinary dictatorship of a Banana Republic, but Islamists that are ridden with genocidal delusions and chauvinistic Irredentism.
Because of the absolute failure of the Iranian opposition in the West, that does not benefit from the fact that in both, Switzerland and Germany, Iranian citizens make up the fourth largest group of Asylum seekers. Instead I have to endure insults and death-threats by misguided members of the Iranian opposition. Generally speaking, is the Persian chauvinism a huge problem inside the Iranian opposition. As the Iranian journalist Ramin Ghavami already wrote in his piece for the “Fair Observer» ethnic minorities in Iranian are attacked from two sides: On one side from the inhumane regime and on the other side from Iranian nationalists inside of the Iranian opposition that see in every non-Iranian citizen of Iran as second class citizen at the very best. It is also not helpful at all that many Iranians, supporters of the regime as members of the opposition, are hostages of their very own delusions of grandeur and therefore want to revive the Persian Empire. The Irredentism the sadly little noticed plague, that keeps haunting Iran and that is powered by Persian chauvinism and a revisionist creation of myths. This Irredentism is also the reason that differs Iran from Afghanistan. Iran and Afghanistan have much in common: Both are countries in the Middle East with Persian speaking majority of the population and an Islamic-influenced culture. Today Afghanistan is haunted by tribalism, while Iran is a hostage of Islamism and that so far little noticed Irredentism. I would like to say, that I completely understand that Iranians flee in masses from Iran as the Austrian news-paper “Kurier” has reported. However, what I deem completely unacceptable however is when Iranians in the diaspora act like hardcore-patriots and because of that insult me, threaten me with death and tell me, that because of my Caucasian heritage (I am of Georgian-Mingrelian ancestry), my only right in this lifetime is to die for Iran and because I am obviously still alive, am guilty of “genocide against Aryans”. When opposition groups such as “Farshgard” identify Islamism and Communism as inhumane ideologies and therefore exclude Islamists and Communists, but choose to ignore Imperialism and Irredentism despite the fact in countries such as Syrian act in feudal manner because Imperialism and Irredentism is this extremely reckless in my book.

While so-called SJW are more and more a plague in the Anglo-Saxon sphere and in Europe, countries like Turkey under the regime of the AKP, Russia and Iran, with or without the regime, must critically scrutinize their very own history. As long as this is not done properly these countries remain prone to ideologies like Chauvinism, Irredentism and so on, which can, in the very end not only be a thread to their own population. As I already wrote in “Freiheit ist keine Metapher» (A book published in the German-speaking world, obviously) Erdogan`s Turkey, the Russia of the KGB-midget and the Islamic Republic are dividing Syria in the manner of feudal lords, like their own ancestors divided the Caucasus among themselves. This comes to no surprise when it comes countries with a colonial past, which did face its own history critically and this exactly where the anticlerical opposition has to start today and not build pipe dreams on the ruins of Persepolis for an upcoming Persian Empire, no matter under which banner. Especially since this would be the continuation of a feudal policy that failed already under the Shah and latter in the Islamic Republic. For centuries the Shiite, Persian-speaking male was in charge in Iran, while women and non-Muslim and non-Iranian minorities were at the very best tolerated second class citizens. After the Islamic Revolution in 1979 there was a shift in favor of the Islamic identify at the cost of the Persian identity. Now from parts of the anticlerical Opposition seek a revival of a Persian Empire based on two pillars, monarchy and Pan-Iranism/ Aryanism, is a regressive move.

Because the revival of said Persian Empire, that is also called “Iranian cultural continent” and “Iranian confederation” by misguided members of the Iranian opposition, is completely unrealistic. It also extremely humiliating for all non-Iranian population in the Caucasus and Central Asia and is based on a false creation of myths from the Iranian part. Because there never was a so-called “Iranian cultural continent”. Even during the reign of the Sassanids the Caucasus was the homeland of many different ethnic and religious groups, the Proto-Kartvelians, the ancestors of the Georgians were one of the largest groups during said times. This makes me come to the conclusions that as long as anticlerical opposition in the exile continues to seek to revive the Persian Empire on six days of the week and to bemoan the existence of the Islamic Republic on the seventh day, the regime has nothing to worry about and can already plan its next “birthday”. As long as significant amount of the Iranian opposition seeks shelter in exile and solace in delusions of grandeur and sees Central Asia, the Caucasus and parts of Asia minor as integral part of Iran and Caucasian people as subjects, that have to serve Iranian demands, the world has to prepare itself through sanctions and at worst with military means for a further existence of the Islamic Republic.

For those Iranian for whom I definitely, because of my opinion and my heritage, a Pariah and therefore an “Aniran”, a “dirty Gorji”, a “dirty Tork”, a “Gendeh”, a “Vatanforoosh” and a “descendant of Zahak”, I have an opportunity how they can redeem themselves and save their face: By finally getting rid of the regime of the guardianship of the Islamic jurist and face their skeletons in their closet.

40 Jahre Islamische Republik- 40 Jahre Versagen der antiklerikalen Opposition

2019 feierte das Regime der sogenannten Islamischen Republik ihr vierzigjähriges Bestehen. Zeit einen Blick darauf zu werfen, warum dieses menschenfeindliche Regime dieses Jubiläum überhaupt feiern konnte. 2019 war auch ein Jahr in dem im Iran zahlreiche Proteste stattfanden und es zu einer riesigen Flut, nach jahrelangen Dürren, kam. Die Flut 2019, diese menschen- vor allem von den Revolutionsgarden, gemachte Katastrophe, die den Iran heimsuchte und in gewissen Provinzen schlimmere Auswirkungen hatte, als der Iran-Irak-Krieg, konnte das Regime nicht wegspülen. Trotz der schrecklichen Nachwirkungen, die dem offensichtlichen Missmanagement des Hemkerregimes zu Teheran geschuldet sind.

Tatsächlich könnte das Regime sogar von dieser Flut profitieren. Ein Beispiel: Seit der Flut und der anschliessenden humanitären Katastrophe quakt das Sprachrohr des Regimes, Javad Zarif, unermüdlich und auf allen möglichen Kanälen, dass man doch die Sanktionen gegen das Regime aufheben solle, um den Flutopfern zu helfen. Trotz der Tatsache, dass das Internationale Komitee des Roten Kreuzes sicherstellte, dass Hilfslieferungen nie von den Sanktionen betroffen waren. Dies hindert natürlich das Regime nicht daran weiterhin mit Unwahrheiten Agitation zu betreiben und so leichtgläubige Menschen zu beeinflussen, da die Sanktionen, primär die Sanktionen, welche die Revolutionsgarden (IRGC) betreffen, das Regime tatsächlich bedrohen. Des Weiteren, hat durch die Flut, das Regime eine Entschuldigung dafür, dass die libanesische Hisbollah und andere schiitische «Milizen» nun im Iran stationiert. Diese können nämlich auch bei Unruhen im Iran zum Einsatz kommen.

Die sogenannte antiklerikale Opposition ist hingegen derzeit keine echte Alternative zum Regime und hält dieses, durch eigene Unfähigkeit, am Leben. Ich nehme mir die Freiheit, ein paar Gründe aufzuzählen, warum das Henkerregime zu Teheran, welches keine demokratische oder moralische Legitimität hat, um über den Iran zu herrschen, immer noch da ist:

– Wegen der Präsenz der Revolutionsgarden/Pasdaran und der paramilitärischen Basiji. Die Revolutionsgarden kontrollieren über 60% der iranischen Wirtschaft mit Scheinfirmen wie «Khatam Ghorb», insbesondere den äusserst profitablen Bausektor, durch den sie schmutziges Geld (aus Drogenhandel etc.) waschen.

– Aufgrund des Märtyrerkults um Mossadegh, der immer noch unter zahlreichen säkularen Iranern verbreitet ist. Für diese ist der entmachtete Premierminister ein säkulares Substitut für den Ali und den Hossein der Schiiten. Mit der Entmachtung Mossadeghs entschuldigen diese Iraner bis heute den erbärmlichen Zustand in dem der Iran durch die Existenz der Islamischen Republik ist. Damit ignorieren sie die Tatsache, dass Länder wie Ungarn, die Tschechoslowakei und Georgien nicht nur die Entmachtung, sondern im Fall von Nagy (Ungarn) und Gamsakhurdia (Georgien), auch die Ermordung, durch die Sowjets, hinnehmen mussten. Trotzdem werden weder in Budapest, noch in Prag, noch in Bratislava oder in Tbilisi, Menschen am helllichten Tage an Baukränen aufgehängt.

– Durch die Tatsache, dass viele Leute den Iran verlassen, so eine Abstimmung gewissermassen mit den Füssen machen und dadurch, unbewusst, Druck vom Regime nehmen. Denn so hat das Regime im Iran weniger Mäuler zu stopfen und muss weniger Angst haben, dass irgendwelche „Desperados“ es herausfordern könnten. Und in der persischen Diaspora schafft die Opposition es kaum, die Neuankömmlinge zu mobilisieren, damit sich diese, zumindest ausserhalb des Iran, gegen das Regime engagieren. Dies nötigt Nicht-Iraner quasi dazu sich gegen das Regime der sogenannten Islamischen Republik zu engagieren, da es sich bei der Islamischen Republik nicht um die gewöhnliche Diktatur einer Bananenrepublik handelt, sondern um Islamisten, die von genozidalem Wahn und chauvinistischem Irredentismus angetrieben werden.

– Durch die absolute Unfähigkeit der iranischen Opposition im Westen, die nicht davon profitiert, das sowohl in der Schweiz, wie auch in Deutschland iranische Staatsbürger zu der viertgrössten Gruppe der Asylsuchenden gehören. Stattdessen muss ich mir von iranischen Oppositionellen Beschimpfungen und Morddrohungen gefallen lassen. Generell ist der persische Chauvinismus innerhalb der iranischen Opposition ein grosses Problem. Wie auch schon der iranische Journalist Ramin Ghavami in seinem Beitrag in «Fair Observer» schrieb, werden ethnische Minderheiten des Iran von zwei Seiten angegriffen, nämlich auf der einen Seite vom Henkerregime zu Teheran und auf der anderen Seite von iranischen Nationalisten innerhalb der Opposition, die in den nicht-persischen Bürgern des Iran, bestenfalls, Bürger zweiter Klasse sehen. Es hilft auch nicht, dass viele persische Iraner, sowohl Anhänger des Regimes, wie auch Oppositionelle, Geiseln ihres ureigenen Grössenwahnes sind und darum das grosspersische Reiche wieder auferstehen lassen wollen. Der Irredentismus, die kaum beachtete Plage, die den Iran fest in seinem Griff hat und vom persischen Chauvinismus und der revisionistischen Mythenbildung innerhalb der persisch-iranischen Diaspora angetrieben wird. Dieser Irredentismus ist es auch, der den Iran, von Afghanistan unterscheidet. Der Iran und Afghanistan haben viel gemeinsam, beides sind Staaten im Mittleren Osten mit einer persischsprachigen Mehrheitsbevölkerung und einer islamisch geprägten Kultur. Aber Afghanistan wird vom Tribalismus heimgesucht, während der Iran die Geisel des Islamismus und des bisher, eher wenig beachteten Irredentismus ist. Dazu muss ich anmerken, dass ich vollkommen verstehen kann, wie Iraner in Scharen aus der Islamischen Republik flüchten, wie der österreichische «Kurier» am 16.04. 2019 berichtet hat. Was ich aber inakzeptabel finde, ist wenn Iraner in der Diaspora die Super-Patrioten mimen und mich beschimpfen, mir mit Mord und Totschlag drohen und mir sagen, dass ich, weil ich kaukasischer Herkunft (also um genau zu sein georgisch-mingrelischer Herkunft) bin, mein einziges Recht in diesem Leben sei für den Iran zu sterben und, weil ich dies offensichtlich nicht getan habe, schuldig am «Genozid an Ariern» bin . Wenn oppositionelle Gruppierungen wie «Farshgard» den Islamismus und Kommunismus als menschenverachtende Ideologien ausmachen und deshalb Islamisten und Kommunisten ausschliessen, aber Imperialismus und Irredentismus ignorieren, trotz der Tatsache, dass das Regime der Islamischen Republik Iran, in Ländern wie Syrien und dem Iran, eben aufgrund von Imperialismus und Irredentismus, den Feudalherren gibt, ist dies meiner Ansicht nach grob fahrlässig.

Während so genannte SJW im angelsächsischen Raum und in Europa immer mehr zu einer Plage werden, müssen Staaten wie die Türkei unter dem AKP-Regime, Russland und der Iran, ob mit oder ohne Mullahregime, dringend kritisch ihre eigene Geschichte hinterfragen. Solange dies nicht getan wird, bleiben die oben genannten Staaten anfällig für Ideologien, wie Chauvinismus, Irredentismus und dergleichen, die am Ende nicht nur die eigene Bevölkerung bedrohen. Wie ich schon in «Freiheit ist keine Metapher» (…) geschrieben habe, teilen sich Erdogans Türkei, das Russland des KGB-Zwergs und die «Republik» der Mullahs Syrien nach Feudalherrenmanier auf, so wie ihre Vorfahren einst den Kaukasus untereinander aufgeteilt haben. Dies ist nicht weiter überraschend für Staaten mit einer kolonialen Vergangenheit, die ihre eigene Geschichte nicht aufgearbeitet haben. Und genau da muss die antiklerikale Opposition im Hier und Heute ansetzen und nicht aus den Ruinen von Persepolis Luftschlösser für ein künftiges, grosspersisches Reich, egal unter welchem Banner, zu errichten. Zumal dies ein Fortführen einer feudalen Politik wäre, die sowohl unter den Schahs, wie auch unter dem Mullahregime gescheitert ist. Jahrhundertelang war im Iran der schiitisch-islamisch, persischsprachige Mann an den Schalthebeln der Macht, während Frauen und besonders nicht-muslimische und nicht-iranische Minderheiten, bestenfalls geduldete Bürger zweiter Klasse waren. Nach der islamischen Revolution von 1979 gab es eine Verschiebung zu Gunsten der islamischen Identität auf Kosten der persischen Identität. Nun, von Seiten der antiklerikalen Opposition, die Wiedererrichtung eines grosspersischen Reiches, das auf den zwei Säulen, Monarchie und Arianismus, fusst, ist ein Fall in die Regression von Seiten der antiklerikalen Opposition.

Denn die Errichtung eines solchen grosspersischen Reiches, wie es in den Kreisen von exiliranischen Irrdentisten auch «iranischer, kultureller Kontinent» und «iranische Konföderation» genannt, sich vorgestellt wird, ist vollkommen unrealistisch. Es ist auch absolut demütigend gegenüber der nicht-iranischen Bevölkerung im Kaukasus und in Zentralasien und beruht auf einer faktenresistenten Mythenbildung von iranischer Seite. Denn es hat NIE einen sogenannten «iranischen, kulturellen Kontinent» gegeben. Selbst während der Herrschaft der Sassaniden war der Kaukasus Heimat verschiedener ethnischer und religiöser Gruppierungen, von denen die Proto-Kartvelier, die Vorfahren der heutigen Georgier, eine der grössten Gruppen war. Dies alles bringt mich zum Schluss, dass, solange die exiliranische, antiklerikale Opposition daran festhält an sechs Tagen der Woche die Auferstehung des grosspersischen Reiches herbeizusehnen und am siebten Tag die Existenz der Islamischen Republik zu beklagen, das Henkerregime nichts zu befürchten hat und schon seinen nächsten Geburtstag planen kann. So lange ein signifikanter Teil der iranischen Opposition Zuflucht im Exil und Trost in grössenwahnsinnigen Träumen findet und Zentral- und Teile Kleinasiens plus den Kaukasus als integralen Teil des Iran betrachten und Kaukasier als Untertanen, welche iranischen Interessen zu dienen haben, muss sich die Welt, durch Sanktionen und notfalls durch militärische Mittel, auf ein Fortbestehen der Diktatur der Mullahs einstellen.

Für die Iraner, für die ich wegen meiner Meinung und meiner Herkunft nun endgültig zum Paria wurde und die deshalb in mir einen «Aniran», eine «dirty Gorji», eine «dirty Tork», eine «Gendeh», eine «Vatanforoosh» und ein «descendant of Zahak» sehen, habe ich eine Möglichkeit im Angebot, wie sie sich rehabilitieren können: In dem sie endlich das Regime der Statthalterschaft der Gelehrten auf den Müllhaufen der Geschichte befördern und sich den historischen Leichen im Keller stellen.
